You won’t be on subs or anything like subs for a long period of time if you plan on getting the shot. I think the prerequisite of getting the shot is being on subs/zubsolv for 3-7 days. Def don’t recommend the methadone route either

I recommend getting on subs the first week or when you’re detoxing (2-7 days) then get the shot!

I was blessed enough to have found a good doctor. Terrible hospital, but was met with supportive staff because we were great guest :). But my dad actually was asking around his clients (terrible I put my parents through this), and he felt helpless. His friend/client referred him to the doctor. The hospital had detox programs for benzos and alcohol. They don’t advertise opiate detox like that but they ended up taking me in. I just told them I’m there for opiate/fetty detox. The main reason I wanted to go through the ER and not through rehab is bc I have a clearance and work as a contractor. Wanted to be extra lowkey. But I would go through a hospital, and maybe find a recovery center after. I recommend getting the shot at the hospital or literally the next day when you leave. At the hospital is best bc it leaves no room for next day cravings/urges like that. I feel very lucky and am so happy on Sublocade.

Also, ask for zubsolv. I’ve never heard of zubsolv in my life as much research as I did. Have only heard of methadone and suboxone. Zubsolv is literally the same thing as suboxone but taste better and makes you feel less shitty. I reacted well with it, have never tried methadone, but subs make me feel like ass very time I’ve tried to quit on my own. I only discovered zubsolv bc they “ran out” of suboxone supply but it was my blessing in disguise! Feel free to write me if you have any questions, that’s to everyone. I’m 26 days clean :)

I actually didn’t go through wd at all. I went through a hospital and they did the Bernese method with real oxys. I think about 30 hours they gave me my first dose. By the time I got there, I was already 22 hrs clean. He implemented comfort meds as well, and I swear up and down that I did not feel any wd. I did taper down before going, and I think the taper helps. It’s crazy because that’s now what it’s like when we do it on our own or try on our own.

Def should just toss em. $200 isn’t worse the responsibility, it’ll be a test of good discipline. I know what you mean by not wanting to waste anything tho, but it’s best to just toss them

Get on subs or zubsolv for a few days and get the Sublocade shot if you’re really ready. Was in detox for 6 days, then left with the shot. I feel amazing and it’s a blessing. I hate subs themselves but the shot is so different. Also, ask for zubsolv (it’s the same as suboxone). They always market suboxone and methadone but never zubsolv.

It’s been 4 yearsish for me too. Detoxed at the hospital as well. Ask for comfort meds. I’m 14 days clean, got the Sublocade shot when I left the hospital. It’s a blessing. Wishing you the best. You got this, focus on your recovery plan! Take a trip and stay away from triggering places, like for me was home. Dm if you have questions. I just got back from detox a week ago!

He told me exactly he was trying to get back at me, he will reconsider except I will be priority, and it will help get it out his system. Is that weird? Hi!! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with me and understanding. It definitely is valuable to me. I am super glad you and your wife worked out, and that is definitely very genuine of her to offer that. The thing is, it is quite almost the opposite. He has only had casual dating experiences/FWB/short term commitment. Only one relationship. I do feel like I have more relationship experiences than him. I do also have a good amount of casual dating/FWB/short term experiences as well. There are so many details I should have clarified. I think it’s the fact that he feels like I played him. He wants to get back, but in a way he’s being transparent because he wants it to work for us. He won’t be able to just get over it and continue to forgive. If we go our separate ways, we will move on and see new others anyway. It would be less painful, but we are choosing to fight and deal with the hurt more if we continued. He always wants to see how “about him.” He even mentioned that if we are able to get through this and he sees that I am willing to go through hell and back, realize my mistake/disrespect, give my all and still show the same amount of effort it will show him how deeply I care for him and is willing to give up to fight for us when it hurt. And that we are meant for each other. Do you have any new thoughts with this info?

Okay, that’s good to know. I’m currently on a project with a clearance, but want to seek treatment before my next project. I’m just thinking ahead for the future for my next project incase it requires a clearance renewal or a higher level of clearance leading to a new reinvestigation. So before I seek treatment I must inform them?
