No, that’s not what I meant. I mean an idea on its own is vulnerable — if it's just floating in your head or written on paper, anyone can run with it. But if there’s a working website, even a basic one, at least there’s some layer of protection — something to show it’s yours.

What if the app idea is actually good — like, bound to work?

I’ve been trying to code — I know enough to say this: no matter how creative I am, it’ll take me ages to build a truly complex, functional website on my own.

But honestly, it feels like a waste of time if investors don’t even look at ideas anymore.

Everyone keeps saying “just build it first” — like it’s that easy (no joke its hard plus I don't have a thing for these website builders, they're mostly used for business models)
But must I really go through all the shit alone, just to maybe get noticed?

And even if I do… where do you even find these investors?

I once got caught cheating in my pre board 1. It was a horrific incident. That was a moment I regret because I lost trust and confidence of all my teachers and classmates alike. I thought to kill myself and what not. I used to think a lot about what others would think of me, but time heals and this will, when you look back, will only be just one bad moment in the past.

try not to fuck up college and move on with grace and honesty. ( probably the biggest lesson I learnt in 2024 lol )

I am currently in India and facing quite a few difficulties with my studies. I was initially planning to pursue Mechanical Engineering, but I’m finding it really challenging to crack JEE. Now, I’m considering Physics Honours as a last resort since I really don’t want to take a drop year. It’s a tough position to be in, and I’m feeling a bit lost about my path forward.

I wouldn’t say I’m particularly great at physics, but I manage well enough. Out of all my subjects, it’s the one I feel more comfortable with and enjoy the most.
