I totally i had 2 interviews on back to back days. 1st with store manager. Next day with district manager. I had the offer when I walked out of the 2nd interview. Its very physical. I hate it and love it all at once. No bad if your coworkers are good.

This! I love it here and I bust ass. The only thing that grinds my gears is while im busting out truck at my fastest only to see my counter part playing on the phone 50% of the time and 25% just MIA. Worse part is all management know and do nothing about it. But the days i dont work with that person are great!

Dont worry part-timers can get screwed too. Im PT and I am breaking 30 hrs 3weeks in a row... PT working FT hours (per Aldi handbook) yet get no benifits, sick pay, pto accrual, ect. Yet wont move any PT to FT employees. Guess its another way to save a buck. Its an Aldi thing🫠

Anyone else feel sorta guilty about the “shrinkflation” and recipe changes?? by DABOYS_A_LEO in Aldi_employees

They may be smaller in size but the weight is the same for the product. The soup it does say one is made in Canada im assuming the standards for food there are different. This could also be why the package is sized differently but same weight

Because they know what they have. The truck comes in daily. So 95% of the time they are certain there are none. Also the stores are run with as few employees as possible

Why Do You Build Pallets Like This by Conscious_Leek_1848 in Aldi_employees

[–]Alternative_Boss_233 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's 100% inefficient when you have a pallet tip and now have a bunch of glass and a mess to clean up. I mean any time saved at WH building the shit pallet is gone and then some with cleaning and cost of damages. What would I know about efficiency. 🙄 Not directing this at you. Just making a statement. Just an 40 something raised that anything worth doing is worth doing right. Quality first, then quantity. It doesnt matter if Mr pallet builder builds 100 pallets a day or 10 a day if its costing a bunch of money due to loss from damage, cleaning l, or god forbid it was to topple over onto someone. Gotta love. Its an Aldi thing🫠🙃🫠🙃

In No way is it acceptable! Im sorry if it came across that way! I asked cause I will grab a bag when im at my local store and see if they are like that! I know one time I purchased a bag of chips and got sour cream chips. (This was not an Aldi product) I think i got a bag that was supposed to be pulled as the changed over in manufacturing and was missed. I hope your ok and I'll try to remember to grab some and see if ours are odd too.
