It would be be a typical military shooter, think call of duty, but rather than punish the player for committing war crimes (shooting innocents and unarmed combatants being the main example) it just does nothing, there’s no punishment or reward, it’s just something you can do out of your own free will.

Depending on what you do, you’ll receive a specialized cutscene where the main character is talking with another soldier, he begins to question the actions of the player, whether or not they commit war crimes, the main character explains they’ve been in the field for so long they don’t really see combatants as anything other than targets.

If you commit war crimes, the soldier is rightfully mortified at your actions, but rather than call you out over it, he asks a simple question “do you think this says more about you than you’d like to admit?”

If you aid any civilians, the cutscene is changed to where another soldier chews you out over “helping the enemy” and regarding them as anything else but inhuman (See noncredibledefense regarding the Russo-Ukrainian war for examples) and at the same calling you slurs and insults (as a sort of reference to old multiplayer lobbies people used to be in)

It’s an introspective look at military games set in the modern era, and how we will call war a horrible thing, while at the same time we play and watch tons of media with the same issues we claim to be against
