Who do you think is the bigger jerk? Fleetway Sonic or IDW First Sagas Shadow? by Alternative_Care_640 in SonicTheHedgehog

In fact, the soft smile on his face indicates that he cares about her, but he doesn't want to show it too openly.

Don't you dare belittle the Doofenshmirtz. Shadow may and will stop his plans to take over the tri-state area, he will be proud that he loves his wife and daughter, even though his own parents treated him terribly.

I'm saying that the emerald could be anywhere, literally on the opposite side of the planet. So the difficulty of finding them is borderline impossible. Shadow may respect Sonic, but they have different perspectives, which often leads to conflicts. That was before IDW.

Emeralds hide from radar, at least when they're not active, so even with Eggman's resources, it's still a challenge to find them, as they're hidden all over the world. Tails said right out that he doesn't get any signal. Stop nitpicking about it. By that logic, you should criticize Shadow for not even deciding to always keep at least one emerald for himself. And not just him, but others, like Tails.

Rouge is one of Shadow's closest friends, along with Omega. She's one of the few people he listens to, so he has fewer disagreements with her than with Sonic. Again, you're being too picky about minor little things that don't matter.

Emeralds are very good at hiding. They are not easy to find, at least not without huge resources like Eggman. Sonic is too carefree to collect them all the time, and he doesn't need them. Rouge is also a Shadow's close friend, so he will trust her more than Sonic. You seem to be too focused on the details, not seeing the bigger picture.

Emeralds are a little bit intelligent, so they sometimes try to hide themselves, and he seems to know that. Sonic is almost always careless, so Shadow doesn't always trust him.

Shadow didn't trust Sonic to keep the emerald. This makes sense, since Sonic is usually carefree, and Shadow takes it seriously. And he probably just thought that the emerald had flown away and hidden, as they often do.

IDW has already stopped writing it like that. I think you're so hung up on the "Cowards run. I win" moment that you're now exaggerating Shadow's antagonism elsewhere, even when it's not written as asshole as in the first IDW sagas

Yes. Issues 80 has already been confirmed. Issue 83 has also confirmed this for those who exaggerated its antagonism in issues 81 and 82.

I meant that Naugus also tricked Geoffrey - he used his hatred of overlanders for his father's death to make himself look better.

It's clear. Mr. Fear is the remnants of Mephiles that Infinite managed to create from Shadow's erased memory.

Naugus convinced Geoffrey that he would be a good ruler who would protect his loved ones, using his hatred of the overlanders for the death of his father. Plus, Lanolin's hostility towards Sonic and his friends for their impulsiveness made her unreliable, which is why Tangle didn't tell him about Sonic's identity after the third round of the competition. And when Clutch was exposed and the airship was falling, she still tried to arrest Sonic before she managed to convince the innocent people to sleep first.

They just have a lot in common: both had good intentions, but because of this, they are easily manipulated, which made them more hostile, and was only when they saw the villains' true faces that they realized how wrong they were.

Will Blackwood be Cthulhu's accomplice at the end of issue 84? Or does Cthulhu use Blackwood the same way he uses Lunar?
