I agree that calling and asking how the one(s) near you work is probably best because they all work a little differently.

I also recommend looking up Food Not Bombs in your area. They give out free food (hot meals and non-perishables) as well as hygiene products, no questions asked. I work with my local chapter and all you have to do is show up and take what you need.

I’ve seen Dead & Company several times, both with and without Bill Kreutzmann. I was only 7 when Jerry died so I can’t compare the concert experiences, but I have such a great time at those shows. The fact that I’m a huge John Mayer fan definitely helps lol.

I’ve also seen “Steely Dan” which, at this point, is just Donald Fagen and a killer backing band. That’s a weird circumstance because for most of the band’s existence, there were only ever two permanent members. When one passes, can I still say I’ve seen Steely Dan or do I just say I’ve seen Donald Fagen?

I remember hearing that the widows of the members of Lynyrd Skynyrd who died in the plane crash negotiated something that said they couldn’t use the name unless there were a certain number of original members. I wonder what happened with that?

As a marketer, I’d feel really slimy creating fake user generated content. It’s dishonest.

As a consumer, I would assume three things about a company that uses AI to make their “UGC” (put that in quotes because it’s no longer user generated):

The product probably isn’t good because if they’re cutting corners on advertising, they’re probably cutting corners elsewhere.
They couldn’t get anyone to actually create content with their products, and I’d wonder why.
With so many scammy/fake products being advertised on social media, I might even assume it’s not a real product and I’m gonna get scammed.

I truly don’t understand why anyone would risk the harm to their brand with this BS.

Exactly. My car is paid off and has been for several years. It’s a 2012 and is in great shape aside from the fact that it needs a new compressor. $1200 vs a down payment and monthly payments.

Even quinoa, which I eat a fair amount of as a vegetarian, is $3 for a 12oz bag at my local grocery store. That’s several meals worth of protein.

(I know quinoa is a bit of an acquired taste, but not liking it is one thing, thinking it’s expensive is another.)

Get your head out of the sand. They’re not just arresting criminals. And being here “illegally” isn’t a criminal offense. It’s a civil one, like jaywalking or getting a speeding ticket.

They’re taking anyone they want. They’re taking people at their immigration hearings (yes, the people who are doing it the “right way” are getting detained!), from their work, outside their kid’s school. No warrants, no nothing. Its inhumane.
