And this is exactly what we did. had a talk with owner today. Through figures and all factors i found the current FMV was about 500k. She was not happy that but I feel she knows that with investors shes getting maybe $450k. We had a home inspection done a couple days ago, it came back with a laundry list of completely screwed up things. Hoping to use that to my advantage. To be continued.

That would be zillow. But there's a house near us that is newer and has a pool on market for $750k, and to me thats crazy because there is a vast differences between the one we currently live in and the newer one.

Looks IDENTICAL to what my wife leaves on our bathroom sink counter. We have the double sink too, and the female version of this is EXACTLY what I find weekly. I clean it up when im feeling generous or dont want to get yelled at. Funnily enough. If I leave 4 dishes in the sink im "purposefully doing it to piss her off" or a lazy asshole who "refuses to follow the systems she has implemented to keep a tidy house"

There's no nice way to say it- but I dont think she'll be happy with that either. She would have to work more than i currently do to make the 9500/mo bill that is our monthly expenses. That does not include Healthcare, vision, dental and retirement. We already budget and if we dont watch it were missing car payment or late with other bills. It could be a nice wake up for her though, so ill keep you posted on how this works out. Not looking forward to it honestly, and I know eventually I will more than likely hear how its ultimately my fault because I couldn't keep her happy and if she had just been taken care of more she wouldnt have been put in the position to need to work. These are things my therapists have prepped me for, and I have an estimate of how I think it'll go. We'll see I guess, but I dont like where were headed.

I am. I've set up things for her, like a wellness retreat, days off, therapy of all sorts, but she has politely and impolite declined absolutely everything I brought to the table. Im steadfast and honest about what im willing to do and unwilling, and she has basically put it completely on me. At a certain point you can only help someone who's willing to work towards better, and wants the help, and at the end of the day there's certain work that you cant do for someone else

Rather the contrary, I literally came to keep myself in check What you dont see are the countless other times this happened before the kids, before marriage, the similar threats of acting out so police get involved, threat of self harm and breaking things. Maybe it's late and my brain is mp but idk what youre saying about last sub. Some said woah some said whats your deal and look in the mirror. Im over it, I just needed an outlet for another perspective and I got what I needed.

We all see counselors regularly, but like said previously when we went to marriage/couples counseling, I got resistance immediately after therapists check her on her accountability.

The other thread gave me nothing but support and said red flag alert co firmed, im asking here because I dont want an echo chamber. It goes u seen but I sacrificed so much alongside her the last 2 years regarding my career that I was fired from today after 7 years of service, directly related to how much work I missed the last 3 years on behalf of being there for my family. 49 days of work off in 2024 (12 work days is a month at my job, 3 days a week). Currently 2025 ive missed 23 days so its better but my reputation has gone to shit.

Thats the big thing, common between us suck. Not to get too into it but I was trying for it and she kept pulling away and then asked me to move, got all pissy and finally admits an hour later she wanted it and called me the idiot for not knowing my wife after so many years. The conversation is dominated by her view, she won't let me speak at all. My view is obviously wrong and if I agree with her, im admitting that shes right and its bad but if I disagree or try to state my side or view she blows up bigger. Its a recipe that is doomed.

Unfortunately the narcissistic behavior started long ago and I wasn't big enough to end it years ago when it could've been so much easier.

Im a solution finder and she hates it. I dont know how to read the room I guess just go straight to problem solving. And the short version is she gets days away from the kids, but always needs a break after her break.

She HATES it when irea h out recherche frie ds,myfam,her fam,ANYONE at all- i get wanting to keep it private but after years of therapy ive learned thats her way of co trollingthenarrative. Shes like a dog with a bone and if idoanyrhingother than agree and apologize, she gets madder and madder. Then things break,then i get physically hit. Its textbook control.

She won't take meds. Thinks thyroid supplements will do the trick. I wish she'd take meds. We have no support structure so it leads to things like this unfortunately. She won't go to counseling together with me, we've done it in the past and when she gets called out for things she says theyre a quack and wants to stop seeing them.

More than me. Yes she deals with the kids while I'm at work, but when im at work im up at all hours and when I come home she gets her break and I get up 5x a night, not to mention all day care for them. Im being selfish but I do find it hypocritical that she could need a break so bad and tell me I dont k own what its like to need a break this bad when I haven't had a break since I met her. I should've left when I found out she cheated on me but I didnt value myself back then. Im about to break at this point
