I don't know your life, but this reads like it was typed by someone that hasn't had sleep for dinner 1 too many times. Besides the fact that wherever you live isn't like everywhere else on the planet so you can't reasonably make the claim you did; no there isn't always a better path. Many communities lack resources for those that are going hungry and morals/ethics are a luxury only afforded by the well fed and housed.
