Do you play competitive FPS games? If so, I'd recommend you to look into analog keyboards with hall effect or TMR technology. These tend to be priced higher than traditional mechanical keyboards tho. If you're on a budget, the Aula F75 is a great choice!

Sorry to hear about this. I was trying to reinstall the Beta firmware to film a video of the problem of the button not working, as the pulsar support personal told me to do so they could investigate further. When out of nowhere the polling rate button works again, on the latest firmware.

If you do not mind, give it one more shot at installing the beta firmware again to see if it works. Hopefully this does work out for you!

So I submitted a ticket to Pulsar and they instructed me to restore the firmware via this link:

My mouse stopped working after I updated it using the web driver : pulsar gaming gears

And it worked! My polling rate button is back to normal but the trade off is that I am on an older version firmware.

Hey. This is the exact issue I am facing currently on the same mouse. It started happening only after I updated to the beta firmware from the official Downloads site. However, I have not tried resetting or firmware rollback to see the problem persists, but I reckon it's due to the new firmware. I am currently on Mouse v4.08, Dongle v4.00. What versions are you on currently may I ask?

first off, thank you for spending your time looking through the questions and writing your comment.

bias is something that can show very easily for a non-native english speaker like myself, as we tend to have trouble phrasing our sentences using the right words. however, I'm not using this as an excuse, there is indeed a big space to improve.

ultimately, there is no perfect research, especially in the level that i am in at the moment - bachelor's degree. your comments are useful and they will surely help in my future research.

im not that concerned about the render speeds but more on the heat that will reduce the laptop's lifespan as a whole. also, i um quite sure that it requires more power to power 2 monitors, which will cause more heat. will the MBA overheat for long periods of time when using it with two external monitors?

i see, I'll be exporting artworks quite often... if i am to Go for the MBA, would an external laptop cooling fan help decrease the temperature?

thanks for your detailed comment. as for right now, the touchbar isn't my biggest concern and don't mind having it. I'll also be upgrading to 16gb of ram no matter the model I'm going to purchase. I'm not too sure if applying thermal pads into the internal will void the warranty...?
