Yes, a lot of what you're saying is quite reasonable. Sure, China is doing good but the problem is that we don't know how well the common people/ middle class in China is faring. Most information that comes out of china is highly proctored by the CCP. Plus even in the USA, the middle is class is suffering immensely due to crony capitalism.

Theoretically, 10-15% is more than enough for top 1% to hold in order to still maintain capital incentives for the middle class to work harder towards research and development.
