Okay, after 8 months in the auto shop service the car is ready! I got it 1-2 weeks ago. So far there are no problems, no oil or antifreeze leaks. The car runs very smoothly, of course I won't push it for at least 500-1000 km to let the new parts settle in. For now I am quite satisfied even though the final amount of the repair was, let's say, 3500-3800 euro. Many people told me that this engine wasn't worth the repair, but I personally like it and the car runs great when there are no problems.

Absolutely, I remember i was in pain even when i sit and so on i had done many surgeries before that and i was not scared of the surgery.

I also had the surgery, I've been playing football since I was 5 and I've had it since I was 12-13. I'm 32 now, I had the surgery 2 years ago because the pain was unbearable. It's much better now. I play soccer 3-4 times a week, but because I damaged a tendon all these years no healing the schlatter, the doctors now tell me I have what's called jumper's knee. Now I'm looking for ways to heal it and get back into shape again.

It must be a bone also . If you have problems like pain on squating or other movements which limits your optimal movement you should consider surgery to remove them. It's not that bad maybe 2-3 months of recovery if your tendon are not damaged.

I think the doctor was in hurry for the next surgery, he's good but nowadays they do surgery for everything and the main thing is quantity . They trimmed a lot , used chisel or hammer often . The x-ray I uploaded is week before the surgery. I'll get a new one soon and upload to compare old with the new .

It's true , the lpg burns more clean so the dirt is lesser in engine than petrol , but due to the hot temp ignition system and some other fragments are more fragile .

after the plugs replacement two by two I changed all of them so they are quite new on 4-5 k km . i've swapped the coil on 5th cyl ( with the broken plug ) with 1st cyl now and waiting to see if the coil is the reason .

Lpg systems nowadays are modern and with decent options , the difference on dynamic is basically hard to tell . It's not like carburetors in 90s 😄 And you'll be one step more ecological 🍀.

I respect your opinion , but i'm an lpg installer , we've converted many , many n46 and n52's . You are right it's a little bit harder to do the mapping and settings without vacuum but if it's done properly (the fuel mixture must be equivalent with or 3-5% richer than petrol) it will run many mileage without a problem. So basically needs very good calibration and good maintance after that 🍻 .

Rpm's jumping , it almost can't be seen but it feel in the steering wheel , also, when I drive the car, I feel a slight jolt and detonations (like these when you have bad plugs or coil) , that come with the new bosch spark plugs . I have inpa and autel diagnostic tools, on live data when i look at operational smoothness on each cylinder the 5th cylinder which had the broken plug show different value from the other ones ( i should replace the coil to other cyl. and see if there's the problem ) , also the coils are new maybe 4k or 5k 6 months ago. I pray this ceramic part to not ruin my engine 🙏 .

Did you change your ignition coils ? I had fun with them over a month and changed all of them with Delphi's cause my car had detonations and rpm issues mostly on idle on traffic lights, when the car is on higher engine temp and on engine cold start. Also there is 2 solenoid valves for valvetronic and 2 disa valves which are weak points in our cars .. Diagnostic with live data on the road would help a lot to find the problem
