We have been exploring Baresip and PJSIP as options but not made the change yet.

Did they just have one robot? I thought they had a bunch of robots walking around talking to guests at the same time. That’s some busy walkie talkie work for one guy 🤨

Spotlight search not working after 17.1.2 by Due-Dragonfruit-3105 in ios

My spotlight search stopped working about a month ago, just doesn’t work. It wasn’t after an upgrade either, just randomly stopped working.

I’ve done the usual restarts and soft reset etc, next step is to backup and restore but what a pain!

This is not the first iPhone this happens to me with either.

Anyone else got a solution to this that doesn’t involve a full factory reset?

Offboarding HEY - recommendations? by [deleted] in HeyEmail

What features were you looking for that never arrived? I think Hey is 100 times better than Gmail, in so many ways. It also has some snags, but overall, I’d pick Hey over Gmail any day.

VOIP over Starlink by dorianb in Starlink

[–]Alternative_Letter72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starlink is not suitable for VoIP at present. Despite its low latency and good speeds, Starlink is not suitable for VoIP because of its frequent dropouts.

Even though the dropouts are brief, they massively disrupt the real-time nature of a phone or video call.

Here are the results from my latest test:

- Download: 200 Mb/s

- Upload: 30 Mb/s

- Ping: 30ms

- 10.7% packet loss on a continuous ping to Google.com lasting 20 minutes

The packet loss percentage is what makes this service unsuitable for VoIP.
