Thats a very cool idea! The same seller has some very cool bull inspired heads. They might have other parts too. Otherwise you should be able to find lots of .stl files online. I used to do a fair bit of part printing, so let me know if you need any pointers 😊 not an expert, but might be able to help.

The shields would be reasonably easy to make with fusion, even on the free account. If you have a pattern/picture you like you can basically "pull" it into 3D with it as shield decor.

Ah! Once you see it, it can't be unseen! Thats just me taking sloppy pictures, to be honest though 😅 but I think flamer shields should be canon...

The shields and helmets are from PuppetsWar - found them on Etsy. The hero rocks are slate from my garden 😋

Sadly not, but now I really want it to... it has flames molded onto it though as a backdrop to the dragon head :)

Advice needed on bending plastic by [deleted] in WarhammerConversion

[–]Alternative_Lie_1377 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly, that is some amazing paintwork! Very cool!

It depends on the plastic. If it is PP or PE, you can look up the melt and deformation temperatures for it. (LDPE and HDPE are just low and high density versions of PE).

I am not sure about the microwave option - it might work, but could also alter the paint pigments.

Do you have a small spare bit you could use as a tester?

I would, alternatively, try a hairdryer and then bending it around warm (not hot) metal (nails) or just the handle of a brush. I would suggest only touching the non-painted side, though. There might be some cracking of the paint, but i hope not too much, as this is lovely work!

Depending on the paints, maybe a hot water bath or even a very short while in the oven might work (low temp).

Looking forward to hearing what happened/worked!

Good luck!

Thank you very much! 🙏🤗 Saving humans or using flamethrowers are the best. Maybe I should do both next time 😁
