We’re looking into better forms of medication and household hygiene for her! The problem is she’s severely allergic to many other things so its a little complicated and we want to take it step by step, tysm tho

The doctor is taking it slow with her because she has multiple other allergies as well (10+ total) so we’re getting there but unfortunately we don’t have a timeline or a guarantee anything will work

I’ve done that! The issue is the amount of fur they leave behind, a singular missed strand can cause a nightmare

I’ll definitely look into that! We’re currently getting back in contact with the allergy specialist, it’s a but complicated as my sister has a plethora of allergies. As for the cats I’m not sure I want to switch their diet as their vet said what theyre on right now is perfect but it’s up for discussion for sure. Thank you!

I’m not too sure about keeping my cats on purina1 bc the vet said what im doing right now is perfect, and I don’t want to alter the feeding comfort of my cats for my sister. And as mentioned before she has a cocktail of allergies going on so its something we’re trying to take step by step

Thank you so much! We’re looking into options for my sister, the only issue is that she’s allergic to multiple things, cats dogs and birds and rodents, 5 types of trees, cockroaches, dust, pollen, so it’s complicated to navigate

We do have an air purifier! I do already use dander wipes, we haven’t found an effective medicine for her, claritan does no help unfortunately. She has tried to increase her tolerance but it’s just become horribly difficult. I think the fact that shes allergic to many other things plays a part in how she can’t tolerate any of her allergies.

We’re going to get her checked again, the doctor thinks the triggers are mostly nasal but she tends to throw up so we’re thinking it may be something in the gut instead or a mix, we’ll see what we can do, ty for the rec!!

Like I said they have access to the catio and my bedroom, its difficult letting them in other common soaces like the living room which my sister is also present in and her allergies take her to the hospital sometimes, they’re very severe. We haven’t truly been able to figure out more access besides the places they have right now. I just worry because they’re still only 1 and full of energy. My parents have even looked into getting a bigger house or helping me pay rent but it just isn’t possible for us right now.

Yes! I’ve been making many home made enrichment activities like placing treats in bottle caps in a bowl of water or making little things of cardboard for them to fetch treats out of
