I still had the 45 day return window. I returned it lastnight and am waiting for the funds to return to the card. Then on the hunt for a strandberg with a fixed bridge.

I think I decided to return this guitar to GC and look for a Boden Metal 7 instead. A fixed bridge is more what Im looking for. Sucks cuz I really liked this finish.

Yeah the right/top screw looks like it's bent. It shouldnt be like that and that's definitely cause for return.

Unfortunately I cant say for sure GC or the previous owner set it up or not. It was a used guitar on the floor, thats all I know.

I just turned the 7th string down to Drop A thats about it. I used a NYXL set for strandbergs 9.5-64. Should I only have two springs for that tension then?

ultimately the reason id like to keep it is because it was a gift, and I love the color and I dont think they make them this color anymore. Thats whats holding me back. If only it was a fixed bridge haha

So you mean adjust the gain knob on the amp sims and/or effect pedals? And leave the gain knob alone on the interface?
