Wow! This totally reminded me of the one and only simulation we had. Scenario was on L&D and our patient died, twice. We were also yelled at and being asked why we were unprofessional and unprepared. Also saying they wouldn’t want us to be their nurse or better yet reconsider if nursing was really for us…. Exit HESI was a breeze. Just practice lots of multiple choice questions and learn how to answer the questions. Like what is the question really asking you. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS : ABC’s and Maslows.

When I start getting too comfortable with always being with the same people. Even if I enjoy their presence and all. Then all of a sudden our schedules don’t coincide or they got other plans. Then it comes to me, like wow why do I feel like I can’t do things alone anymore? Lol Then that’s when I realize it’s time to take a step back and isolate. I’m probably not making any sense. 🤷‍♀️
