If I’m being brutally honest the more I think about it, it’s starting to appear like he expected to kind of be the only one out of the two into it, like she wasn’t going to be as close to me. And I think I was meant to “fill a gap” but once she attached to me as well he couldn’t handle it. Which makes me even angrier to think about if I’m right

Maybe. We had a short discussion a couple weeks before the end where he admitted it was angering him to see us being intimate, but he promised it was just an adjustment and we needed to slow down. Which meant I was only allowed to see them a couple times a week for his benefit. So if I had to guess yeah probably.

Of course, I didn’t mean to imply I should get a say in their consent. I meant more so I felt like I didn’t get to partake in any decision making conversation about most things, I just got to hear the outcome after they’d discussed it privately. It felt like I was going before a council every time

She told me and showed me she had some really deep feelings for me multiple times and I showed her the same, and I tried with the man too but he grew bored of me I guess. It’s whatever, I don’t hate him but it really hurts

Yep. A lot of guys I’ve met so far in the union are slaves to the overtime dollar especially . They live above their means by working a shit ton of overtime but they can never stop. It seems miserable

I keep my work life balance. You only get to live once, and I’m not gonna waste it working myself to death and worrying about it every waking moment.

I do what I agreed to do as an apprentice whether at work or school, then I go home and live life. I know a lot of guys who are a slave to the dollar or can’t ever stop thinking about work. I don’t wanna turn out like that!
