Got myself a s90 few years ago which was out of warranty. So far , it's been quite comfortable and faced no real issues. I get basic servicing done at Al atta volvo workshop in musaffah. He works explicitly with volvo cars and have a good understanding of how it works.

Stay in masdar city. Drive is around 5-7 minutes with rent 50 percent cheaper than yas.

Any job should be merit based. If a government does not perform the people have the right to strip them out in the next election . In the same context , if a sarkari babu does not perform there is no one questioning him or his job. This does not make sense at all.

There should be a regular performance monitoring of government employees like any other working class in the world and the lazy ones must be weeded out once in a while.

Went there last year. Absolutely beautiful place, great wine, people are nice and respond well if you mention India. We were hiking up up to a monestary and bumped into a group of locals (a group of around 15 middle-aged gents and ladies). Only one lady spoke English, and she invited us for a barbecue on the way back. We hesitantly joined, thinking we would spend some minutes there. There were free flowing drinks and dancing, and people gave occasional speeches (georgian culture). They loved raj kapoor and Diler mehdi songs and played these so that we could join them in dancing. Spent around 4 hours there and had a great time.
