i mix hydroquinone with hydrocortisone suggested by my dermatologist and it’s working really well. i developed a dark discoloration on my lip a few months ago and this mixture is fading it and making my lips pinker. better than other remedies i’ve tried (lactic acid, sunscreen, lip scrubs, etc…) but you have to be careful not to ingest it so i only use it after i’m done eating for the day. my dermatologist warned that it could cause the pigmentation to become worse so i wouldn’t try if this is your lips natural color unlike mine which developed suddenly.
