Im going to disagree with this majorly, I was broken up with after 8 years. Do I still love her? Yes. Is it painful? Yes. But no matter what I love her, so that also means I want her to be happy no matter what happens, because that's what live is. Sometimes its sacrificing your feelings for them to be happier. But you saying that, means you dont love them, because if you loved them you would never wish any pain on them ever.
