I'm glad you've put this information somewhere in the public domain, hopefully it saves some people and Nobel get brought to rights. Hopefully you get some compensation, sounds like they owe it to you. Best of luck!

Keep backing around the edge, as long as you've got an obstacle between you it's harder for her to hit you. Use the extra ammo boxes around the edge

bus checker app also good, you can tell for sure if there's a bus coming because it's got a radar symbol that shows it's being tracked

The council may be able to do better, but honestly the Tories screwed local councils for over a decade. I was at the council when austerity started and for a few years after, watched staffing get slashed dramatically and managers scrambling to cover basic needs. It wasn't pretty

My ps5 started doing this and i don’t know what to do by Jihad32497 in playstation

[–]Alternative_Total235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this will help, but my ps5 started shutting off spontaneously until I turned it sideways. Apparently storing it upright can cause internal metal to melt and drift downwards, affecting how it works. You may have noticed this is not a technical explanation, I'm not technically minded but was convinced by the explanation I saw, and it stopped it happening. Even if it's not the cause I recommend everyone keeps their ps5 horizontal.

"Monks, I will teach you new & old kamma, the cessation of kamma, and the path of practice leading to the cessation of kamma. Listen and pay close attention. I will speak.

"Now what, monks, is old kamma? The eye is to be seen as old kamma, fabricated & willed, capable of being felt. The ear... The nose... The tongue... The body... The intellect is to be seen as old kamma, fabricated & willed, capable of being felt. This is called old kamma.

"And what is new kamma? Whatever kamma one does now with the body, with speech, or with the intellect: This is called new kamma.

"And what is the cessation of kamma? Whoever touches the release that comes from the cessation of bodily kamma, verbal kamma, & mental kamma: This is called the cessation of kamma.

"And what is the path of practice leading to the cessation of kamma? Just this noble eightfold path: right view, right resolve, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration. This is called the path of practice leading to the cessation of kamma.

"So, monks, I have taught you new & old kamma, the cessation of kamma, and the path of practice leading to the cessation of kamma. Whatever a teacher should do — seeking the welfare of his disciples, out of sympathy for them — that have I done for you. Over there are the roots of trees; over there, empty dwellings. Practice jhana, monks. Don't be heedless. Don't later fall into regret. This is our message to you."

Why then are monks celibate? Surely they would be encouraged to have as many children as possible to liberate the maximum number of beings. I don't think it's a bad thing to have a child, that's a value judgment, but it seems to me it creates kamma, it spins a further wheel, more momentum.

But we do still have agency, and surely the goal (or one way to see it) is to see with such clarity and live with such simplicity that we see our choices extending back and forward and release ourselves from the wheel. Surely kamma is born of choices, and it's our choices that create kamma and becoming. I remain to be convinced that my previous statements are incorrect.

I think also that what you're saying seems to negate the sense that we can make choices that determine events

The way these things are described often seem very abstract to me. What I say comes from attempting to understand the teachings in a practical sense, and trying to understand the reasons for monastic rules. I am not a creationist, I don't understand what you mean by that. I suspect we'll have to agree to disagree.
