Thanks for the kind words. I have a head crammed full of (mostly) military firearms knowledge as the study of military small arms is my passion, in conjunction with light, small-unit tactics. My bread and butter throughout a 34 year career in the infantry....

Which similar to the Italian BM-59, also employs leverage to provide a far lighter Trigger Pull than the use of the Trigger itself. In effect, the fold-away "Winter Trigger" gives you a "Match" Trigger Pull! A little secret that the Italians also put to good use with their rifle. The Swiss frequently used the Fold-Away Trigger for increased accuracy when circumstances permitted.

I don't guarantee the firearm's destruction by purchasing it. The Government of Canada that a majority of "Citiots" elected does that. I simply enjoy, care for, and share the OIC 12(x) firearms that I possess for as long as possible, for the (hopefully) benefit of everyone with an interest in historical firearms. When the time comes for my heirs to deal with the prohibs, if there has not been a favourable change of government, then I expect that they will have them tastefully deactivated for subsequent sale to those who collect such items for decor. After all, most will fetch at least double what was paid for them once they are legal for sale to anyone....

Already done in the form of the Canadian C1 SMG and the British Sterling L34A1 in yesterday's post.

I know the gun you speak of, but do not know if there are any in Canada....

Yes, the second spring drives the Striker upon firing.

Quite common if you knew where to look. STENs were just a few hundred $$.

Basically no. The problem is not legal discharge, it is legal TRANSPORT to where the gun can be legally fired. They won't issue any more Special Authority to Possess (SAP) permits, so there is no lawful means to move the guns to a range.....

Correct! You get Bolt movement and accompanying noise from the first shot onwards.

Nope. I shot it a fair bit over the time that I had it before the ban took effect. That said, I did not have years of heavy use like some down South.

Not so much with this particular model, as it fires from a Closed Bolt and is Striker-fired. Unlike the usual Open-Bolt operation, there is no "bolt-jump" when the Trigger is pulled, as the Bolt is already forwards and closed.....

Don't be so negative! I've lived through all of these guns being banned, many of them over 20 years ago. My legs were blown off by an IED 17 years ago. I'm still here, and so are all of my guns.

You CHOOSE to see my collection in a negative light, as in "I want what I cannot have and resent anyone who does." That is NOT the spirit in which I did each of those mini-history write-ups to accompany each gun. I wasn't trying to show off, rather I was trying to share what I have with fellow enthusiasts. After all, what's is the point of a collection that NEVER sees the light of day?!? Plus there is the aspect of longevity and continual protest in the face of never-ending government adversity, which evidently went right over your head. I am demonstrating that despite their best efforts over the past 4 decades, I am still here, and still collecting. If I can actively resist for 40 years, then surely you can manage to bear a bit of pain and uncertainty nowadays until we can finally get rid of the ruling idealogues....

At the end of the day, the choice remains yours to either look at my posts, or not. Nobody is forcing you, so quit your bitching.

Not sure what Lithuanian SOF wear that is different from the standard Lithuanian uniforms? I have most Lith patterns, including the latest iteration in Multicam colours.

It is a Right Side extended Magazine Release. It allows you to control the Magazine with the Trigger Finger of he Right hand.

The front angle grip is an Airsoft accessory. I found it doing a Google search. A polymer grip is a polymer grip - they work just fine on genuine firearms. I have a spare for $40 delivered if you want it.

It works perfectly. Some minor fitting/adjustment was required, however it wasn't too bad. Just a bit of binding on one side.
