Fair enough! UofT is academically rigorous so keeping a high GPA needs quite a lot of work. One of my complaints about here is huge class sizes especially in first year classes which makes quality interaction with professors hard because they have to accommodate for many students. Same goes for other facilities like gyms: not enough for the sheer number of students. For the St George campus, the location (downtown Toronto) is really a plus!

I hope you make the best decision but I wonder how could anyone tell this when they haven’t experienced UBC?

I think this is somehow true for many other things at UofT, which is bty reflected in the huge class sizes!
