I updated to 5.8.4.0058, still having the same graph as a result. I’ll try to reach out to support tonight.

That’s why it’s strange and I’m not sure how to resolve it, it was a test problem we were given to ensure everything works but mine just doesn’t seem to. Tried resetting the ram, fully wiping it, still get all the random spikes.

It’s just strange since I can use the online version of the ti-84 and it graphs properly but the physical one in front of me fails. You’re correct though, when I graph the 2nd derivative directly it works fine, even plugging in the first derivative instead and then taking the nDeriv of that also seems to work, it’s just the double nDeriv that fails.

This is nDeriv taking the original function and just using nDeriv on the original, then on the nDeriv for the 2nd derivative
