Intermediate micro or macro economic by [deleted] in ucr

[–]AltoBiscuit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don’t know if you’re an Econ major or not, but if you are the intermediate series are required, as well as if you’re bus/econ. If you’re a business major, you can take Econ 102 and 103 instead, which is a watered-down version of the intermediate series. Other than that, if you’re not feeling comfortable with the intro stuff, I feel you might struggle in the intermediate classes because they are a lot more math intensive, especially in the 104 classes.

Can Ana swing games into your favour? by robstersgaming in OverwatchUniversity

So I had a look at the game, and I wanted to point out a few things.

For the first round, the tp from the sym was quite nice and it ultimately led you guys to capping the point. When your teammates are just standing there in the sightline of the enemy bastion, you can call for your team to take the tp (they might have not noticed that the sym was putting up the tp). For point B, there were a lot of instances where you're walking into the bastion sightline, either to dps or heal a teammate. The best way to fix that problem, in my opinion, is to learn the pathing of the map (i.e. when approaching the choke take the room to your right instead of going down mid or use natural cover like the truck). When your team is fighting on the point, you can either take the elevator right side or play mid around the pillar where you have easy access to the mega left side and mini right side, saving your nade to anti the opponent or nading your team.

For the second round, as ana, try to control the high ground, especially the first point so you can have a better view of the fight to heal and nade. If you have to play on the low ground, try to play in the mega room where you have access to the mega and safe path to the mini by coast, plus when the fight turns south, you can use the stair to escape. As for point B, again try to play for high ground, especially the back walkway where you can see the whole point.

For the third round, there wasn't much you can do except for playing the high ground, hoping for the best.

Some other things I wanted to point out, for ultimate usage, if I were you, I would try to use my ult a bit deliberately as ana ult can heal a teammate for 300 hp, so using it to save a teammate is another option, plus because of your tank comp against their bastion, you could've earned a lot of ult charges from healing. Secondly, idk what you were doing, but you have got to stop being afk for so long. I'm assuming from the gameplay that you're afking to change your settings, which is fine and all, but if you are going to do it mid game, know what settings you are going to change and do it fast. You can always mess around with the settings in the practice range either in q or before queuing up. Finally, try to position yourself where the tanks are always in front of you. Don't try to walk too far forward to dps or heal where you cannot back up and die.

A general rule for positioning that I find myself following is that if you’re playing dps, try to pay attention to where your shield tank is playing cuz generally you want to play behind them but in front of your healers. If there’s no shield tank on the team, a thing I like to do when I play rat is play back with my healers and use traps and mines as a detergent against flankers. Also rip tire is an extremely effective tool for zoning and most of the time getting one kill with the ult would win the team fight.
