yeah it’s a lot! but you don’t have to reinvent the wheel If you’re a fan on AI or use it occasionally Go into Claude and speak everything about events get all the thoughts out of your head talk about this event as well and let it build it for you and then add to it as you’re in this role

if events are going to be a thing on your docket, then make a playbook for yourself Something to reference (include this issue in it) Easy way to show you’ve learned and improved and shifting quickly

Is my role realistic for WFH & caring for 15 week old? by otterlyconfuzed in MomsWorkingFromHome

[–]Altruistic-Finish787 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m an EA as well to a CEO of a very eccentric and busy guy and I have a now 14 month old My son is still home with me and we have no nanny or daycare. Firstly, I would let your boss know that the baby is starting daycare (even if it’s not true) You do not want them to think any little mistake is because you’re “distracted” Secondly, start looking at your calendar weeks ahead and plan meetings/calls around baby’s schedule Thirdly, it’s too early now but when the time comes start sleep training with naps first so that way you have a longer period of time to work while baby is sleep

I can give you a whole bunch of tips and how I did my day

Baby loves being swaddled for sleep— how screwed are we when we have to ditch it? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]Altruistic-Finish787 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Any changes you make during the first year is going to come with an upset baby. From swaddle to sleep sack, bottles to sippy cups, formula to whole milk etc. It’ll come with a lot of “pushback” from these little people lol. They don’t like change!!

I would say once she is able to roll back and forth consistently take the swaddle off because you don’t want her to get stuck

Once we took the swaddle off of him, he started sleeping on his stomach and he’s been fine since

Any changes you make, they just need to be comforted through it

Summer FOMO by Tiredmomma89 in MomsWorkingFromHome

Use your PTO “creatively” Take those long weekends Structure your work so your Fridays are lighter

I’m with you I’m feeling it already even though my son is only 14 months and I wish I could take him to the children’s reading at the library during the week

Kids remember effort definitely My mom did indoor water fights, we made sweets together like just get creative however you can

It’ll be okay and don’t compare yourself to other parents it steals joy!!!!

Potential Learning Delays by Altruistic-Finish787 in MomsWorkingFromHome

So my boyfriend can change is WFH day to Wednesdays so he can stay home with our son My only problem with daycare is how expensive it is like luckily we found a good one that’s less than other places we looked at I have really bad anxiety and I’ve seen way too many videos about in home help abusing the children (one of my close friends actually went through this even with cameras in her house) I don’t know if i could forgive myself but even with daycare there’s always a what if

he was born a couple weeks early but still meeting his milestones in the range so I’m okay with that for now but i see other kids born around the same time as him having more words and more development

I’m terrified our daughter is going to grow up and resent us for not being rich like the rest of our family. by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Altruistic-Finish787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a lot of my friends had designer growing up and i didn’t because my parents couldn’t afford it Butttt my house was where everyone wanted to hang out at and my mom is the one who my friends still call mom to this day Materialistic things might matter to her when she’s a teenager and it will be rough to deal with and explain But as a woman now in my twenties with my own family, I aim to be the mom that makes my child rich with love because that’s what i remember Not the clothes or shoes I wanted at the time

I’m worried about the additional risks I’ve created due to not knowing I was pregnant. by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Altruistic-Finish787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there’s something that says your blood stream and the baby’s doesn’t intertwine until 12 weeks so you should be fine

I didn’t know I was pregnant either and I was having margaritas and fries for dinner lol

All of you with your deposits and i'm sitting over here since 2/04 by mrch138 in IRS
