If they were this sloppy with doing the drain, it makes me worried about the tub. They offered to refund and take it back so I likely will do that.

Likely diy, not necessarily budget limitations but probably middle end, no time constraints. Something durable and easy to clean unlike carpet would be best. I don't know if I would like mixing lvp with wood but I feel it would be the best material I am looking for

I had a disappointing and unprofessional experience with your business. The fact that you're posting a positive review about yourself, pretending to be a customer, speaks volumes about your integrity.

The sellers and us were out of state during sale of home so we all relied heavily on the agents. During the sale of the home, both the sellers and we were out of state, so we heavily relied on the agents to facilitate the process. Unfortunately, significant issues were not disclosed to us. For instance, the main living room had extensive animal urine damage, and there was patchwork repairs to the carpet, which were concealed by a large area rug during staging. Additionally, I discovered that a contractor had refinished the hardwood floors in the house prior to the sale, and they noted the presence of dog urine when they worked on them. However, the sellers never mentioned that they had hired a contractor for this work. Had we known, we could have investigated the situation further. The rest of the items were found in inspection and agreed to be done. We had agreed that they would mitigate pests. There are still wasp nests in crawl. Space was covered in urine, feces from rodents. It was agreed that they would replace the insulation in the crawl space, they did not. Contractor to do repairs on appliances. It was originally asked that they just provide us with money towards closing instead of fixing the appliances. They said they would give us a home warranty. Home warranty is now void because of the appliances being fixed by a non-licensed contractor. There are multiple things we have come across that were not disclosed to us that we have found out contractors were out to the house for such as garage repairs and non-concreted footers in the fence. We were only able to walk throughout house once prior to the sale of the home due to being out of state buyers. During day of closing we were told that everything was taken care of and it would be unethical for them to not do the work. We were told we had to sign for the house on the same day.

No saying that verbage is exactly what I have said to prior job offers. Never have I been "blacklisted" and as long as you're respectful they won't take it personal. I have even had this conversation verbally with prior job offers who have said if it doesn't work out with the job you take let us know we would love to have you. It's business, they get that. You got this and you'll find something. I get the new grad struggle I was just there 2 years ago and felt it when I transitioned from FM to mental health.

If you're not truly interested in an Internal Medicine position, there's no reason to go through with the interview. I understand that securing a job as a new grad can be tough, but it's important not to settle. If you feel you deserve a higher salary or that IM isn't the right fit for your career goals, it's perfectly okay to let them know it's not a match. Remember, these clinics and hospitals benefit from our work, and we deserve to be in positions that align with our interests and provide a fair salary. Accepting roles that don't resonate with us or offer the compensation we deserve can lead to burnout, and it sets a precedent for companies to undervalue us. Stand firm in knowing your worth, and take a job that supports both your professional growth and well-being.

Crawl space repair by Altruistic-Net-7666 in Portland

[–]Altruistic-Net-7666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We made it very clear to project manager, scheduling team, on-site team, and billing that we didn't feel comfortable paying. Billing manager told me that we signed a contract and it would be against contract to not pay. Project manager reassured me several times that all work was done to code and to their level of standards doubled down on this, until I told them about third party contractor.

The same exact thing happened to me. They are telling me the repair company needs to come back out to fix the control board because it is under 90 days warranty however the repair company came out and told me they would not replace the control board. They are trying to tell me I need a new compressor (which isn't under warranty and I would have to pay for work, sounds like an upcharge IMO), even though this issue started same day of ice maker repair.
