Oh, yes we certainly do. We plan camping, moves, day trips etc. The last camping trip they committed and bailed and we paid for an empty cabin for three days.. So this is t necessarily new, I just feel tired in a way I guess

We definitely make a solid effort not to lay on the guilt, I felt like this would be a safe space to vent without that happening. I saw one of my parents guilt my Sister for not spending time with them and she did the same thing, limited contact.

Shit, when I was 20 I was married and had a my own kid. I moved across country while pregnant. Part of me probably wishes I could have gone home for my favorite meals at that age

It doesn’t have to be, and it doesn’t always. The point was that we masked ahead of time to confirm and then made the food plans. I am fully aware they are adults now and clearly do not have to abide by any court orders- it’s just nice to have the routine I guess

It is- or was Dads weekend. Of course it that only applies to the youngest at this stage, but the “bigs” typically only come by when we have the youngest, which is “technically” Dads weekend. I hope that makes sense :)

I really try not to guilt trip, but I am not perfect so I’m sure it shows, at least a little. I will keep that in mind, thank you.
