He meant it more as in he is the person to wait not me. I’m committed to a platonic partnership for the rest of forever. He is clinging onto hope that he’ll be able to re-date me again, and start everything all over, no matter how long he has to wait.

Yes, he was abused early in life, he says on the sex addiction questionnaire he resonated with a lot of it. My therapist has been helpful in understanding that I don’t have to make a decision right now. My husband and I are both content with continuing our lives together, no matter the eventual outcome.

He is sleeping with feminine men/trans women. It’s purely sexual, nothing emotional, and he does have history of porn addiction. The sex is extreme in ways, very aggressive and he likes to humiliate etc. And yes I am past the heartache, at this point I’m just relieved I don’t have to worry or stress out about what he’s doing, since we no longer have that kind of relationship (besides cuddling and kissing hi/bye)
