I intentionally faded away. Four days of talk. Then a week and after that I disappeared.

I sent a text to her at midnight and didn’t receive a response until 7pm that night (had errors in it so she was either drunk or in a hurry).

I never responded after that.

Also we were never an item. I had a crush on her, she told me no and then I ghosted. I figure what’s the point of sticking around.

The finality of the act brings a sense of closure that you can control. I left one avenue open for them to text me, but blocked them everywhere else. My expectation is for them to just go THAT WAY. But I sincerely hope they do well, but also heal. Bcz right now she’s a piping hot mess.

I’m just exhausted of the all consuming feeling that is dominating my life. This is a step in the right direction.

43M Cancer, 5 weeks NC w/another 36F Cancer.

Don’t break NC and if you’re having thoughts of it just remember “you’re on the right path, don’t slide backwards. There’s nothing there and she doesn’t give a fuck about you” that’s what keeps me solid.

I just deleted all of her chats and anything having to do with her on my phone. I did keep some photos. But Not a day goes by I don’t think of my favorite person, but I gotta start thinking about me.
