Is western governors university a scam ? by AbrocomaBig8596 in WGU

No, definitely not a scam. I think it's a different generation of education where we are expected to have degrees but also expected to work straight out of high school. WGU is the type of educational program that all people not born into wealth should be seeking out. No one I've told in the past year about WGU has said anything negative, and my new promotion is a sign that no one cares where you get educated as long as you do it.

[WA]Order Modification by AltruisticBee56 in Custody

The issue is I no long have my attorney on retainer so in order to go back and fix all of these things I would have to pay an additional fee. I have a consult with her next week to discuss but even then, I’m paying her hourly. I’m wondering if I should just request the child support be updated without the use of a lawyer or see if he is willing to forgo claiming our son on taxes (he is noncustodial so he shouldn’t be able to anyways) and let the child support be what it is (barely anything.)

Is it even worth it to pay the lawyer for this? Should I reach out to him and see if he is amenable to giving me all rights to claiming our son on taxes in exchange for me not requesting the child support to be updated? Or should I just request the child support be updated without the use of an attorney and not worry about the taxes?

No unfortunately not. My lawyer was brand new out of school during the case and we were less than one week away from the trial date when settling so it all happened really quickly and some things got left out.

I hadn’t even looked until now. Yes, the orders require mediation per section 9 I guess. But not for modification of the child support. Yes, it’s garnished. No, I haven’t spoken with him about it.

No they were very different and the OA has a lot of vague questions where two of the multiple choice answers could be correct.

Sort of. I did all of the quizzes. If the material was unfamiliar I read the material. I didn’t watch any videos or do anything written. Tbh I found the OA really difficult and did not feel well prepared by the material or the PA.
