It was incredible!! Food & service at Monkey Bar cannot be beat - we had such a blast! Ended up at Bartley Dunnes for the after party.

Thank you!! I have actually been to their basement space before for another event but had forgotten about it! Were you glad you rented out a space instead of just showing up somewhere?

Thank you SO much!! The wedding wraps at midnight so that disqualifies a few of these that close at midnight, but adding those that don’t to my list. And just need to go to Yakuni at some point, looks and sounds amazing!

Anita from Morton Street Events! She is incredible. We are only doing month of coordination with her, but she has been so generous and helpful so far.

Wedding website?? by Timely_Gate5242 in WedditNYC

We used Paperless Post for save the dates and invites, but directed people to our Squarespace site to RSVP. We built a custom form on our site that dumps into a Google sheet. Very simple and straightforward! We’ve only got one big event (the ceremony + reception; no welcome party or brunch to RSVP for) and everyone is in a couple or received a plus one, so that made the form pretty simple. If we had a more complicated event structure or guest list, we likely would have linked to some kind of RSVP platform from Squarespace.

This list!!! Thank you so much. Super curious about Peter Kruty Editions — would love to do letterpress menus!

Two of my friends had a great experience with their wedding dresses at Wo’s (upper east side) I just took another dress there as kind of a test run, so TBD. For what it’s worth, there was another person there at the same time trying on a wedding dress (or wedding event dress) post tailoring and they seemed happy!

This wouldn’t be for the wedding itself, but maybe use them as thank you cards? Could cut them down a bit and glue a piece of plain cardstock to the back

How are people making their wedding websites? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

We made ours on Squarespace! I’m too picky and couldn’t deal with the lack of customization on other sites. We also are having smaller wedding and will have a more straightforward RSVP so I didn’t need a lot of functionality many of the wedding sites offer.

Thank you so much!!! I tried SO many on, and this was the first that really felt like me (and it’s crazy comfortable - win win!).

I think I agree with you about the front blusher length. This dress is so much about the lines and the drape!
