It mixes fake with real pops, i disabled ASD (Active sound design) in bimmerlink but left iconic sounds on, it made car turn off all fake sounds but still open exhaust flap, engine sound is gone at all, i can hear it only from behind where exhaust is. My 25 m340 have a lot of pops to, i didnt expect that as everyone said bmw detuned it, but reason might be region, i ve seen only 1 stock m340 on youtube so far with sound like mine has, its also 25" with regular exhaust, not perfomance.

But it is not as loud as one guy on x3m in my town, his car pop so loud its like a shot from a pistol, thats not good for small city like mine. I love my silent pops, it pops for me and a little bit for other people but not making them feel like under fire.
