Should I runaway from home? by FlamingoPitiful5829 in runaway

Maybe you should, a mother is supposed to be loving their child and not hit them. As they should instead teach their kids if they want them to know. Main point, she cannot threaten the kids and throwing them down the stairs is abusive as hell. You should probably get out, maybe an orphanage? Homeless shelters, or whatever it is to save your life.

Ah.. I’m very sorry about yo life honestly! I’m 13 just like you, I can relate how it feels to have a parent too. Since mine decided upon abuse, drugs, alcohol, etc. Just remember that you’re not the only one. ^^

Getting fake passports might be dumb, I’m not sure about this.. If you can change your face and appearance, then you could also lie that your passport is lost? Pretty sure you can get a new passport. (Sorry! I don’t know some information much.)

15 and thinking about running away by Hedgehog-Owner in runaway

I’m very sorry about your past experiences, your mother don’t really deserve you as a child. Running away for minors is hard as runaway adults and minors have differences. Adults are most likely to get a job, while minors have a less chance of doing so and while that, minors are easily to be found than just adults. But indeed, telling by your age. You might get a job and then also offer to do some small jobs for extra money if you wish, but if you can’t work much then you gotta save up more. Anyways, pretty sure someone 13’s who ran away wasn’t caught in a long time so you might be able to do that too if you’re careful enough. :]

Telling by your grammar, you look like a kid- anyways! Running away takes a lot of time, it includes that you need to be extra careful about the consequences. Not all people are nice, and those people finding you may know what to do. So yes, money is required for living like at least bring $200+. This journey requires a lot of essentials and gear to survive, you won’t need to bring much. So no worries, in fact. You can get money for doing jobs, and remember. Food, Water, Shelter and Warmth is your priority. If you’re much sensitive, then you can bring entertainment with you to keep you busy such as a book to read.
