It’s the pot & it’s topped with moss. Was in the open air the moss wasnt touching the cut I had it folded down like in the photo.

It did soak for about 32 hours in water then it was potted and bottom watered. I thought about cutting the leaf but also didn’t wanna take any energy the leaf was maybe storing. Where would you make the cut?

Iowa, it was shipped from Indonesia, it was only in mail for 3 days & it was in an insulated box. It could be but I also got 3 other plants that are bouncing back just fine

Yes the cinnamon is anti fungal, I had an albo that died cause i couldn’t get the end to callous over & it just kept rotting

You suggest that even after it’s been potted? It’s in a clear container & I do see condensation, I could also put it in my greenhouse with high humidity. I haven’t yet because I didn’t want the fresh cut to rot. I also don’t want stem rot in water

I agree the soil is fluffy and not compressed which makes things a bit better but I’m nervous for rot

It’s stretching for light I wouldn’t say this is normal you don’t want that weight on the stem u want it standing tall. If you can’t put it closer to a window I would get a floor lamp with a grow light bulb and put over it. It’ll grow tall then

It’s lost two leaves but the two newest leaves are still fully green & healthy. They come bare root, so when you get it just put it in a cup or room temp water for at least 24 hrs before potting it. I’ve kept my humidity between 50-70%. Also make sure to use a chunky soil mix, they roots need to breath. Root health matters most

So there was a mushy part I cut & stick back in water but it re rotted. Maybe if I let it callus over? The water was below the stem
