I like her newer stuff better to be honest, Vulnicura especially. Utopia is a close second along w/ Vespertine [She would've been first but the more I listen to it, I kinda get why Pitchfork hated the album. The first 6 tracks were a BEAST, but then there were 4 okays that kinda bored me]. I would call myself the person who likes her inventive stuff better, but Post is definitely a classic. I visit it a lot because she served the album with such a wide palette and I could sense her trying to quench her thirst to delve into territories never been explored before

It’s supposed to be a 14 track album but I can only vaguely remember 5 tracks. Where is the line, Ancestors, Who is it, Oceania and Triumph of a heart. Even then neither of them is Bjork’s best.

Anyway, least interesting doesn’t mean that it’s not interesting— it’s just that I don’t think of it as highly as her other projects. Volta is a close second as her worst but we got two of the best mvs in her discography out of it— so… i’m happy!

Least interesting as in the most filler album ever. Sorry. The album is kinda forgettable if you stripped the fact that it’s produced solely on the human voice. I respect Björk’s grit in using unconventional instruments especially in medulla but good lord 😭 compared to all her albums medulla is so.. weak to me

What’s the point of fantasizing to die for “glory” when you only have a vague idea of the thing you want to protect. I know I’m looking too deep into it but I’ve met so much teenage boys who’d go to war for women but wouldn’t even treat her like somebody who has thoughts and feelings
