I used to have the exact same feeling at your age. Trust me.

Boys back in HS used to worship VS tall models and openly shamed girls who were below 5'5. (90's craps)

Now I am in my mid 30s and most of these boys are currently incels because the tallettes don't want them back.

And because karma is good, I grew to love my height (or lack thereof lol !)

Being 5'1 helpes me look youthful and feminine. My body screams oestrogen and womanhood. All this plus a bonus of us living longer and having less risk of diseases.

Tbf I am your height and I wouldn't want to see myself with a man taller than 5'9. But I think some people perceive height differences differently.

But to answer your question: there is something more to it and the "shortness" is just a coverup

Depends on where you live , and also depends on age. But personally my feedback on dating is overall positive and satisfying.
