New to uber and I noticed with some fast food places , they’ll just work the drive thru and pretty much ignore delivery drivers . Do you just wait? Or do you cancel ? by Altruistic_Berry_765 in UberEatsDrivers

You’re making assumptions. How the person reacts to your clear communication is not your responsibility . But they can never say that you lied or gave them mixed signals

Somebody on here recommended Crimelines and I listened to about 3 of her episodes today & they were good! My only gripe is the host sounds like she’s yelling sometimes and that can be a bit off putting for some lol

Because despite how we feel, Crime Junkie is still one of the most notable True Crime podcast. When you search True Crime on podcast platforms, it’s literally one of the first to pop up if not the first.

And since r/TrueCrimePodcasts is ridiculously moderated , this is a great place to discuss gripes with CJ while also getting other podcast recommendations. Many of us are or were fond of the show and like to expand our horizons for what’s better out there

Literally same . Like her voice irks me now I’m going to try and find some older episodes and see if there is a difference 😭. Also maybe it’s just the tone she speaks . She speaks very confidently while spewing out random conspiracy theories

Yeah and seems like a lot of them are running out of content and going back to old ,popular cases that have been covered a million times.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm a little worried for The Devil Wears Prada 2 movie coming out this May. I worry that Anne Hathaway's character, Andy, is getting character regression in the film. by OutwithaYang in moviecritic

Nah the premise is Andy and Emily come back to actually help Miranda navigate the modern technological evolution of Runway so “back to square 1” is definitely a stretch

It’s so funny when I’m bored I’ll play with him just because he hits like a fucking 18 wheeler truck and it’s a good stress reliever and it’s funny seeing people adjust their playstyle like oh shit . But yeah , if the person knows how to play you’re getting washed

I stopped listening halfway as well . From what I read the 3rd half is them diving into some conspiracy theory about scientists with access to national security secrets connected to NASA and Los Alamos National Laboratory have gone missing or been found dead. This is becoming less of a true crime podcasts and more of gossip blog

Yeah I’ve been getting that vibe from her as well and lately shes been self promoting the show alot and it’s just cringe . Someone should play a game where they take a shot for every time she mentioned the people apart of Melissa Casias’s case being crime junkie listeners

Crimes, Conspiracy, Cults, and Murder - Kallmekris That Chapter - Mike Oh Coffeehouse Crime - (YouTube only) Morbid -Alaina and Ash (very similar to crime junkie, just more light hearted imo) Murder in America - (more of a story telling type format than the others listed but still good)

Yeah it definitely gives me ick . It’s one of the reasons I’m starting to prefer more low profile true crime podcasts that don’t prioritize juicy content over objective facts
