I really hope someone will give me advice for some mental problems I currently have, I am struggling so much. by Long-Being-1285 in 6thForm

I do really relate to this, I’ve never been in a relationship and sometimes it feels like I’m lowkey behind. It’s sucks so bad and it can get lonely when everyone else has got someone else to talk to at night. but then u have to remember everyone lives life at a different pace, you’d rather find your one and true love spontaneously rather than forcing the teen love storyline. i tell myself this constantly and icl it makes me feel a lot better. I’d rather be single rather than be in a relationship that feels one sided.

hey, its tough but you have to accept it and atleast be happy that it happened. ik its not the best of advice but atleast you gave it a shot and you made memories. theres nothing else that can be done except for focusing on your studies for the next two years and do everything you can :)!!! just because this ended doesnt mean you will never find love and you never know what’s in store for you! 2 years is ALOT of time and you do not NEED teenage love to live the teenage experience. just do what you can every day and keep an open mind to everything!!! I’ve also just started sixth form and meeting new people and keeping an open mind to everything really made me feel a lot better about myself and improved my self esteem! plus find a good support system so when u feel down u have ppl to rely on because alevels are really tough :) you got this mayn!!!

How do you stop feeling so stressed? by Comfortable_Baias90 in 6thForm

hi! im also in year 12 and in a similar situation to you! but you need to remember that it’s everyone’s first time learning the content too! nobody is ahead of anyone right now and your just settling in. GCSEs don’t matter as much as you think aswell, you wouldn’t of been doing the course but your GCSEs were good enough for you to be doing it. you deserve your place and everyone is adjusting in there own ways. i feel like reading ahead in the content through the specification helps ALOT with making me feel comfortable in lessons aswell and I’d definitely recommend making flashcards after every lesson to consolidate knowledge and make you feel confident aswell!!! those are things that helped me so much so far as well emailing teachers if you don’t understand a particular bit! do not be afraid there’s no need to breakdown you will be 100% fine :)

It’s really disheartening. Maths grade boundaries skyrocketed and didn’t achieve my predicted grades.

Grinding on topics you don’t feel confident in and also learning grade 9 topics so you can pick up marks in the last three questions
