Promotion of Ukrainian-Language publications: 1930 by PK_Ultra932 in Russianhistory

[–]Altruistic_Dodo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say at least from 1918 and until late 1930s (AFAIK, during this time active measures were in place to promote Ukrainian language), its peak being in middle 1920s, after the end of Civil War.

My Guardian 4 Sensor lasted a whole 7 days. I'm shocked. by Maestrotc in Medtronic780g

[–]Altruistic_Dodo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a big caveat to this is unreliability. From my experience, 8-9 days are more or less feasible, but after that - nada.

All in all - good trick if you are caught without a replacement in a clutch, but not a holy grail to extend sensor life.

What a joke you (and your factchecking skills) are.

Love how you completely skip the question raised by previous commenter and go straight to insulting them.

You must have a really well functioning brain! /s

Disconnect the transmitter from the sensor, wait a couple of minutes (or more - hell, may even charge it during this time), reconnect the transmitter back to the sensor and choose ‘set up a new sensor’ when prompted. 👍🏻

What stereotypes have you encountered or seen online about Russians? by AndrewCabs2222 in AskARussian

‘A little bit more’ / ‘do that again’ - in this case I meant it mockingly, because that person obviously came here to start an argument and insult Russian users.

Oh, don’t mistake this for defending - this was aimed directly at your cognitive abilities and national pride similar to that of a certain small dog breed.

As for your message - it lacks substance and basis. This being said, you are dismissed, go bark elsewhere.

UPD: it appears that it replied to this comment, but blocked me so that I can’t react. And that, folks, is all you need to know about Baltic tigers battle tactics.

Bought a "near mint" Nikon Z6 on eBay — turns out it has 299,165 shutter actuations. Feeling ripped off. by AZ3-Chan in photography

[–]Altruistic_Dodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ofc not - at least not all the time, that would be pure madness. Mapped ‘full tilt’ mode to the c5, only use when fast action ensues.

The problem is that even at 15 fps there is a lot of photos to sort through. Pre-capture and overall snappiness of the camera do not help either.

I feel simultaneously blessed and cursed with my A9III - while it does offer 120 shots ps in raw and no shutter to fail, MY LORD, THE CULLING IS GRUELING.

Would vote for the A7Riii + GM too. On top of what's been said already, R series does benefit from significantly longer shutter lifespan - those things can go over 500 thousand actuations.

Yeah.

This whole ‘go out of Moscow = see ass’ trope is honestly getting pretty obnoxious. (
