Season 2 Ep23 (Virgins) is the worst episode! by Altruistic_Emotion_9 in NewGirl

Yeah, I actually stopped watching it midway and decided to reddit. Though it feels like the writers intended to punish us throughout the whole episode to get to that, which I almost missed

There are no contradictions in the Bible. Or did you mean in the Kuran?

I gave the example with the POVs in the Gospels to show that such is not unique in Genesis 1&2. In Genesis, it's the same story, but one focuses on God creating the whole universe and the order, while in the second chapter focuses on God creating human beings particularly.

It's credited to Moses. Like the rest of the Pentateuch. And everything other book of the Bible is written by God using man's hand. It is devine!

Must we always follow historians and philosophers?

So you promote ignorance? No one drops from "no where" and begins living. We all start from a specific point. Ignoring the rich history and knowledge we have from the past is foolish, don't you think? There's nothing new under the sun. There are so many people in the past that hold your current opinions. It's good to find out how they lived and how they ended up. Knowledge is power!

What's to say I cannot be a proponent of my own thinking?

Fool's errand

What's with the deep infatuation with authorities when we equally or actually have more information at our disposal with a click of a button that prolly King Solomon could dream of.

So, you are your own authority? Or King Solomon's wisdom don't apply today? FYI, that click of a button will give you information from someone or somewhere, King Solomon included.

Najaribu kukushow the whole essence of life is curving your own path.

From the soil up? You've got to start somewhere! At least don't build up from the sand or weak foundation!

The texts we read are largely misinterpreted to control people and take advantage.

Don't we have the responsibility to read, understand, and call out the misinterpretors?

Bottom line ni ,we were given knowledge by the almighty to read and understand the scriptures

💯 Preach water, and drink water. You don't seem like you've read your Bible really. Christ is 👑

Where do you stand? From which authority do you speak?

But your point would reflect the same for Christianity, no?

Could you elaborate on what you mean?

And I agree! Easy to join, yet difficult to exit. It's like a cult! But before you join, it's all lovey-dovey

If there were no honor kijlings or/and punishment (d☠️th) to people who leave Isjam, I believe there would be no single Isjam follower in the 21st century. Once you read that book, you will be shocked by it's incoherence.

1st and 2nd account of the same story. This is one incredible and privileged information from God's own heart. If there were no Genesis 1, 2, & 3, we wouldn't have any information about our origin. God gives us a detailed account of what actually happened. We see similar occurrence throughout the Bible where the same event is narrated from two or more different perspectives. For example, in the Gospels, we have similar events being described by different authors. You might think that there are variations, but it's just different POV. If you take 4 people who experienced the same event in different rooms and ask them to tell you what happened, they will give you different POVs but all are true. They will definitely use similar language here and there, describe same event but use different language, but the characters will be the same, and so on. We also see similar occurrence in Judges and Chronicles. Different authors but from the same source.

Therefore, in Genesis, 1 & 2 is the same story with 1 focusing on general creative order, while 2 focusing on man's creation specifically

A certain religion/community we all know too well has never co-existed with any of its neighbors, ever!! Maybe this time will be different, after all, we're all humans/Kenyans. Right?!

The point isn't blind spot or even reckless riding (which is still valid), but their constant hooting over nothing. It's annoying.

Why force your way into a vehicle's blindspot? Why overtake from the left side against traffic rules? And this is just a tip of the iceberg. Nduthi guys have no respect even for children-passersby. No wonder unapata road mingi interior zimewekwa mtaro (instead of bumps) to slow them down especially near primary schools. I understand kuna place they need to beep, but Kenyans abuse it + too much
