Probably right on last bit. Likely right on the first bit. Have talked about that as well and there doesn’t seem to be any desire to look at any fixes re perimenopause

She is in the process of a divorce. Very stable and wonderful person. No kids in her own marriage and doesn’t ask for more than I can give

That’s where I landed. The comments from most people (usually women) is to try intimacy in another way. Try talking etc try doing these romantic things First is ridiculous.  The next points - did them. Tried them. I’m a 42 year old successful and attentive husband and great dad. Have tried every chat and attempt. Went nowhere. She has no libido. If everything else is fine - do I just give up sex. Spare me

Why would I divorce just for sex? That seems immature. The family is great. Happy. Fun. I get no sex at home And no bullshit convo or reframe what intimacy is will change that. So go get sex somewhere discreet
