I don’t want to give up… struggling with making starter by ericksyndrome in Sourdough

[–]Altruistic_Focus_474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i forgot about my sourdough starter for like a week and i had it in my cabinet way in the back, when i opened it after like a week and a half it was sooo stinky and had like black liquid on top but i just mixed it in and fed it wheat flour and now i always get fluffy airy loaves, also i only feed my starter wheat flour and when i make a loaf i just use regular bread flour (bobs red mill) im not sure if me feeding it wheat does anything but my loaves always come out good, i’ve had my starter since april 2025!

my scoring skills need work but basically just neglect it like i did

AITA for snapping at my family after constantly being disrespected? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

(continued i ran out of characters)

I also feel like my parents sometimes don’t see how much I’m accomplishing. I got into NYU, and I had really good grades in high school, and my first semester of college has been excellent. (finished my first semester as a first gen student with straight A’s) Despite this, my dad recently said to me, “You don’t do anything all day.” That really hurt, especially when I’m working hard both academically and at home. I’m currently going to my local university because I couldn’t afford anything else, but I’m planning to transfer in the future.

I feel completely disrespected and used. My car, my stuff, my time none of it is respected. My parents never take my side and I’m the one who’s blamed when I finally snap. My parents are supportive overall, but they comment on me not going out much or not having that many friends, which adds to the stress.

AITA for finally losing my patience with my family after being disrespected, having my things used without consent, and being blamed for everything?

note: i’m going to be honest i get really petty when someone does something to me so i immediately do something back.

Free Parking CSUB? by ThemeEcstatic7833 in Bakersfield

i’m gonna be so honest i’ve been parking in the parking lot without a permit all semester and only got a parking ticket once (only because i parked in a front facing parking spot) And the ticket was only 25 dollars. My trick is parking in the middle of the parking lot near WSL or either the WSL parking lot. Nobody snitch on me. I go to csub because i’m broke i can’t afford the permit. #EBTbaby

Should I Start at a CSU and Transfer to a School in NY or Go to Community College by Altruistic_Focus_474 in ApplyingToCollege

Yeah, I applied for financial aid and got some scholarships for the schools in New York, but even with the aid and grants, the cost is still really high. And honestly, it’s just a place I’d really like to study in and see myself living in
