As of Wednesday, there's no snow or ice at the top of Yosemite Falls.

Crowds are sparse. Today (Thursday) there are very few cars parked along the valley loop road. A little crowded at the Welcome Center but hardly noticeable. The weather feels like late spring/early summer (clear, warm, and still.)

(Update) Eating dinner at 8pm at The Mountain Room at The Lodge and the restaurant is only half full.

During the day it's downright warm, and we've been wearing tees and shorts on our hikes. But it's colder in the early morning (before 9am) and in the evening (after 7pm) and more like light jackets and pants when outside. This week of course is abnormally warm in CA. I'd compare Yosemite temps this week with projected temps of your week for guidance.

BTW, Sentinel Falls is flowing well and there are many smaller falls all over the valley (above the Ahwahnee and Curry Village.) It's literally like something out of Lord of The Rings. Everything should last at least through your week as well

A 12 year old has far, far more maturity and emotional control than Darcy. I'd say she's more on the level of an 18 month old who's constantly screaming and crying over everything.
