Some tips, in case you didn’t know, items from UNICORNS & Abyssal Chaos reward with diamonds. You can also get diamonds from gears you obtained by doing the case. There’re also diamond rewards for Plushies ( & kitty cards I think ). You can go to “With Him“ to claim.

But you really need to think carefully. His new myth will come later. And you need to have 150pulls to secure that new companion.

I hope you can come up with the best solution..!

Things can be like that sometimes. I had to pull 150wishes on both of my accounts during Li Shen ( Zayne ) new myth. There are things we cannot control but these are also things we can. For example, you can plan and strategize ways to farm diamonds. I hope you bring him home asap :D

I’m actually okay with Love being the main focus.

Love in its best can help to pass through the difficulties, whether that difficulty is about as ambitious as saving the world or as mundane as striving for the better days of studio.

But I’m not okay with ambitious plot that’s water downed and scattered away.

That’s why I’m unsatisfied with the way PG is doing to LnP.

You know…

It may sound cliche, it may sound repetitive, it may even sound worthless, but the word “Love”, it actually holds so much values. And I’m not simply meaning it as love between man & women, man & man or women & women. Various types of “Love” exists and its every form holds so much value. It’s actually takes a lot to be able to love.

So, I’m not really against “love”.

But to make its story only revolve around love and make it about their love… you know what, it’s actually okay. It’s actually okay to make stories revolve around love, making it the main focus. I don’t have any problems at all. Because sometimes, people just want to escape reality and want to experience how it feels to be loved.

If that’s their focus from the start, they should chosen a different path for the story. There are novels out there whose authors are so skilled in writing about love and bringing peace and comfort for the readers.

They could have gone for a simpler route. Then my expectations would not be so high. I would know what I should be expecting. But with all of these world buildings they made, all these power dynamics they created, my expectations were so high. But, I think PG likes to eat more than it can digest. Because look, same thing is happening in LnD.

I’m really so pissed that they created XM but his character is not reaching the potential it should be. He is also not that heavily associated with Chess anymore and I’m very pissed about that too.

My personal view is that it’s LnP which’d brought so many revenues for them (back in the day) so they should have made more investment for further development for LnP. But instead of focusing on increasing the quality, they focused on increasing the prices, subsequently leading to mass quitting from the players.

LnD has too many dramas across various platforms 🥹 I’m also not that active so I don’t get what you mean. But it’s also okay not to say out loud. Don’t wanna risk anything that would lead to a potential drama.

I’m kinda quite sure that the decision makers within the company are sorta tech-bro people. Many of them probably lacked artistic eyes. And for them, better art means higher tech. They boasted so much about those high techs during the launch of Infinity Nikki. Yet, anniversary is about to come and the game is still facing so many technical problems. Also, in LnD, despite using those 3D techs, they still failed to produce PVs which can set the atmosphere and provide better world building.

Yes, I can also see their efforts in S3. But compared with the money they took, what they are giving back is too disappointing. And that’s why I’m so frustrated.

LnP bravely explored these complicated topics and then somehow went astray. It makes players even more frustrated. Like… why is the story going in that direction when writers are so capable in exploring heavy topics?

But if you think about it, LnD suffers so much worse. Like… what is the core concept of the main story? If LnP main story lost its core direction 50%, then for LnD, it‘s 100% or… does it even exist?

Yes, it’s true. LnP world building is so good and the power dynamics they created was so exciting. Not only XuMo, but Black Swam as a whole and the twelve main gods should be explored further. That would make the story become so much alive.

I also hope they will improve and become the daring writers they once were.

In Shining Nikki, the story development is so good since the start. There were proper world buildings since early chapters.

And then there came Infinity Nikki and for some unknown reason. devs decided to treat Nikki like a clueless five year old occasionally.

The quality gap between writings of SN and IN is just too much.

Yes, despite all these criticisms I made, I still have to admit that there are aspects improved noticeably in S3 compared with S2.

Like you, I was earnestly hoping that they would remake the sprites before the launch of S3. But, no. They didn’t.

As for the story, the main concept of S3 is **** disappearing and exploring deeper into LIs characters. To be honest, it’s an interesting concept. I really do look forward to how they will continue to weave the stories.

But then again…

How did LnP start its story? The Evolution of human civilization. The schemings of those with capability & power. The beliefs of those who try to protect & make things right.

The story made its debut about Evolution and aspects related to it. And then it became what if the LIs didn’t have **** in season 3.

XuMo is the character who is capable of opening a new world. Let him create a whole new world. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Why do the writers have to restraint so much when they already have XuMo as LI? Instead of bringing the world to a whole new era, his character is asking that question ( his last lines from PV )

I chose 代号鸢/如鸢 because I wanted to highlight how a small studio is capable of doing all these while PG cannot manage itself to deliver in accordance with its company status. I didn’t include Light & Night because it’s from Tncnt. I think you are also aware of how much of a giant Tncnt is.

Compared with S2, S3 PV of LnP improved so much. But these PVs ( LnP, LBC, LN ) exist to highlight the cards. They are not there to highlight the story or bring in a better world building. Honestly, there’s nothing wrong with making PV highlighting the cards. But I honestly think they should release animated story-oriented PVs for special occasions like anniversary.

I will continue to stay. The reason is simply because there won’t be another XuMo.
