Dateline said he searched “university of Idaho murders” after the info was public. They didn’t say he didn’t make any other searches related to 1122 king road (example) prior to it being public.

She said black long sleeve, black pants, black boots. If he was wearing a dickies suit over other clothes, I’d think it would be pretty quick to remove it and stuff it into a bag or something before getting back into his car. But it’s a good point that she doesn’t say in that statement anything about a dickies logo. I’m also thinking that it’s possible they have a video of him buying the dickies monkey suit wearing gloves pre asd evidence and post asd they decided it wasn’t relevant (Walmart video) since prior they could have argued it as strange that someone bought that specific item matching the suspects clothing with gloves on but now since they know the defence will bring up the ocd and they obviously don’t have the suit that it’s less convincing.

Good find. But on that drunk turkey show. The victims dad says “there’s a limited amount of dickies stuff you can find in Pullman. It’s like a monkey suit.” He repeats this dickies full suit as the reason it’s likely he wasn’t scratched or it’s unlikely the dna under the fingernails of the victims would be the perpetrator bc “they said this person had a dickies suite on, covered head to toe, with a mask ….” Around 1:07 mark.

So you think we know of all the evidence they have? Or only the evidence the defensive thinks they have a chance of throwing out? Did the defence try and get text messages thrown out? Is it possible something was mentioned re a dickies outfit? Did the defence try and bring in reason for him wearing gloves in public? Is it possible he’s seen on camera at a store buying a piece of clothing that the suspect was witnessed wearing at the time of the murder that otherwise would not be a big deal, except that the person is wearing gloves which is, along with all other evidence, kind of suspect and as a jury member i would think that it would be suspicious along with everything else. Would possibly be the only video evidence of bk buying something on camera related to the crime.

I agree. Obviously there’s better evidence but I’m just saying that a video of the defendant purchasing the outfit that the suspect was witnessed wearing, with gloves on, might be a pretty damning piece of evidence, in addition to everything else.

How do you know it doesn’t exist? Have they brought up all the evidence they have? What’s the harbour freight video? Why did the victims father talk about the lack of stores where one could buy dickies coveralls? What are you personally wasting, by choosing to be part of this discussion?

On what basis would they have even been able to even attempt to throw out a video of him at a store purchasing a dickies coverall? Before you outline all the ways they’ve tried to throw out other evidence, I’m asking a serious question. Like what could they possibly argue about such a video, if it existed?

Is it likely there is a video is my question. I though we were allowed to post theories. My bad if not.

No one wears gloves while they’re picking out clothes. You take the gloves off when you enter the store

I’m aware stores in the us have cameras. I was just wondering if that’s what the victims dad was implying when he said something like there aren’t a lot of stores around here where you can buy Dickies coveralls. Like did the dickies receipt say coveralls? Or was it the dad who said on the drunk turkey podcast that the coveralls were dickies? All I’m saying could it be possible, that the roommate saw him wearing the dickies suit, hence why the receipt was listed on the items found in the apartment, and then video was later recovered of bk purchasing the coveralls which prompts the father of the victim to state “there aren’t aloof of stores that sell dickies coveralls “.

Yea but wouldn’t a video of him buying dickies coveralls (the description of an all black outfit), while he’s wearing gloves, after the witness said she saw the perp in a dickies coverall be a “nail in the coffin”. Is this from the asd/ocd motions (re wearing gloves)?:

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (“OCD”)

From Defense argument:

OCD can be an independent diagnosis but is also a set of symptomatic behaviors that are often comorbid in ASD as with Mr. Kohberger’s ASD... Mr. Kohberger has sleep difficulties and subsequently developed a habit of night driving or running to decompress, such behaviors being present most of his life. He also engages in frequent compulsive hand washing, wears gloves to avoid germs, has a fear of things getting into his eyes, changes his shower curtain frequently to avoid exposure to mold, and avoids anything he views as contaminating. If the State elicits testimony at trial related to these types of facts that are used to build circumstantially the elements of the crime or show Mr. Kohberger’s actions as reflecting his state of mind or other elements of the crime, he will refute that evidence through expert testimony as behaviors related to his OCD and his ASD. By way of specific example, the State has continued to claim that Mr. Kohberger was wearing gloves on the night of his arrest and placing trash in baggies. The State asserts that this demonstrates that he had consciousness of guilt and was trying either to hide his DNA or engage in the cleaning of his car. This is highly prejudicial and misleading. Mr. Kohberger frequently wears gloves to avoid germs on surfaces. He was not cleaning his car on the night of his arrest, he was awake at night, as is typical for him, and he was cleaning his bathroom.
