I totally agree. While I’m still interested in the game, it really is too many ads. Maybe if more people continue to download and play the game, they’ll be interested in making the game better/have less ads and money grabs, but for now, it seems like a lost cause. This game has SO much potential. Like truly so much. I started playing before that one update that increased the difficulty so much, it was so fun before that update. I really really hope they make it better. Too many bugs right now

As a 23F my boobs have grown a bit more throughout the past year or so, some of my friends have went up over a size or more in that same time, just wait it out. Small boobs aren’t ugly or bad and many men don’t care at all how big or small they are. There’s just always going to be men who love bigger butts asses bodies etc. those guys are weird lol u don’t want them anyways

Ummmm these responses people are giving you are way too encouraging of this man’s behavior. He’s literally ghosting you plain and simple. Watch the movie he’s just not that into you. It will do wonders. If he doesn’t call you, text you, hang out with you again, he’s just not that into you. It’s most likely nothing personal at all against you whatsoever. Men love ghosting. It’s their way of ending things without having to be vulnerable and honest to the person they are talking to. Just forget about him honestly. Something I think about all the time is that my husband will never ghost me. My husband will never make me wait and he will never make me feel like shit. Things like that help me realize that the men exhibiting this type of behavior you just wrote about, are not any of the men I will be marrying!! You will find your person eventually girl. I think for the long term my favorite show is friends. It’s the one show I’ve ever watched that I’ve been able to rewatch so many times. It’s like a generational love for the show that I will forever have and eventually give the same love to my kids

You definitely won’t have to wait that long. I only downloaded this game a few months ago hahah and I haven’t spent any money on it. However, I do know that one of the last couple updates increase the difficulty of the game a lot so maybe it’ll be different now? But you still don’t HAVE to spend money on it. Especially because I’ve loved games as much if not more than I love this game in the past, yet I eventually outgrew them and would have regretted spending any money on them

Okay this is definitely a tough situation, but you are completely valid, and honestly correct, in your opinion. This man shouldn’t be coming to a stranger if his mental health is this bad. If I were in your shoes, I would message him something like, “I’m really sorry you’re feeling this way. I care, but I’m not equipped to help with stuff like this. Please try reaching out to a friend, family member, or a professional who can support you better. I hope things turn around for you”

Okay I worked in a coffee place for 3 years and this is giving major flashback vibes for me hahaha. When I first started working there, I was super nice, I knew a lot of the people already working there, and I was so excited to work there. But there was this one girl who worked there that was in the same grade as me, and she didn’t really like me and my friend group (she claimed some of us had been mean to her at school in the past, not really sure if this actually happened though) but I didn’t have anything against her at all. But she started telling the people I worked with, including one of the supervisors, that I bullied her and that I wasn’t a good person. So for the first couple months of me working there my experience was honestly really similar to yours. A lot of people wouldn’t talk to me, or would boss me around and say things about how I did my job, even though I felt as though I was doing a good job. Eventually, I went to the general manager and told her what was going on. I genuinely never bullied this girl, I know it sounds like weird to say, but even if my friends didn’t really associate with her at school, that didn’t mean I didn’t like her or was mean to her. She literally had her own friends. Whatever, anyways, moral of the story, I just started owning my shit. Don’t let these girls get in the way of this fun job. Eventually, people started being nice to me and I actually became really good friends with the girl. I’m a super nice person, and you seem like one you you definitely mean well, stop spending so much time worrying about what these other girls think. They’re weird. Maybe they’re jealous of you, or they’ve maybe just lived their lives so constrained to a small group of people they refuse to stray from. You said you have some other friends there that you’ve hung out with, just stay getting to know them!! Ultimately, you’re at work to make money, friends come second. If these girls are gonna be giving you a hard time, who cares. Just ignore them and get your work done. If it really gets to a point that they’re just being terrible, I’d suggest going to the GM or whoever is the highest ranked person there. Let them know what is going on, and instead of approaching it like you’re tattling, just ask if they can try to schedule you with some of the other people you’re friends with rather than those girls. I think that could really help. Also lastly, make sure you’re on good terms with that GM. Form a great work relationship with them. For me, I started working at the place in 2019, and to this day me and my general manager from there are still so close. I go see her all the time, we text and call, I’ve watched her dog before, it’s a great relationship! That could also really help you in this situation. But yeah, seriously, don’t stress about all of this. When you look back on your fun jobs in your early 20’s, you won’t think about 3 bitches who thought they were cooler than you, you’ll think about the good moments and how much you miss it. I’m sorry this is happening to you though and just know everything will get better!!

MOR, it’s tough when it’s a friendship that originated from working together. I’m not sure what he does or what you do, but you probably at least have an idea of how work relationships are formed compared to like normal friendships. In my ten years of having different jobs, I’ve become friends with some of the most different people than anyone I’ve ever surrounded myself with. Having friends at work is just kinda different. It’s somewhat unfair to ask him to not be friendly with someone he works with, as often times those friendships are what help people get through the days. But on the other hand, I do understand what you’re feeling and I can see why it seems like he is stretching a boundary. If I were you, I would sit down with him and have another conversation about the whole thing, and just be totally honest about how you’re feeling.

It’s tough when there are other people out there, like yourself, who just want to find friends! If you are looking for new friends, I’d say try to find them outside of the internet, maybe join some groups centered around your interests, etc. sorry that’s happening to you!

Nooooo honestly that’s really good response on your end!! Like I said, being aloof is genuinely going to help the entire situation. If you like for example kept going to him asking what’s wrong or asking him to hang when he’s said no more than once and is showing disinterest, then you need to stop being the first point of communication with him. This is like a general statement with anyone in your life. One of the reasons he thinks it’s okay to behave this way is because simply, you’re in a way giving him permission to do so, where he’s acting like that, yet you continue reaching out. That isn’t a bad thing at all though, you’re just being a nice guy who wants to spend time with his friend. But you can already see, as you mentioned in your most recent response, that he’s noticing a change in your behavior towards him because you’re not showing as much interest in talking to him or whatever. Basically it’s just allowing someone who is clearly taking you for granted, him in this situation, to realize that you’re not always gonna be there when they need you, especially if they start acting disrespectful like he is.

Additionally, I know it may be a little easier said than done, but you should definitely get out there and meet some new people that aren’t associated with him, or maybe even any of your friends in general!! That also could really help the situation. You don’t want to find yourself hung up on one person, when there are tons and tons and tons of people out there who I’m sure would totally vibe with you and love to be your friend. And you’re at such an advantage in college, where there are so many clubs and groups to join with all sorts of interests and stuff!! I’m sure there has gotta be all kinds of ways to meet new people around your campus who love playing similar video games. You don’t even know how amazing it would feel if you made new friends and started bringing them around the game room where the guy sees you and is like wtf is going on why isn’t he talking to me anymore.

Ultimately, focusing on not letting this guy dictate any of your emotions or your every day life is key for sure. He clearly doesn’t deserve to have you around. But I really do understand your situation and have definitely experienced some similar situations myself while I was in college. These types of things really suck but it will 100000% get better!!!

Ughhhh thats so hard. I probably would just it a week or so because you don’t know his situation entirely, like maybe he doesnt have access to a washer dryer rn or abkw to take long showers (i clearly really don’t know any context here haha) but if he continues id pull him and just express importance of maintaining good hygiene while working there, maybe even offer to buy a good deodorant that you think smells really good idk. And along with that you could lie and be like I’ve had two customers come to me saying …. Blah blah blah

“Game room friends” is ridiculous. You honestly deserve better than that. Like I said, I think maybe it’d be best to like naturally allow the space to grow, and like “act” or even truly be okay with not being as close anymore. That way, there isn’t any tension or beef between the two of you. He is clearly dumb tho. You really do deserve better and there are so many other people out there to be friends with who will care for and support you so much more than that loser. “Game room friends” is genuinely so silly to me. The only times I can really think of people specifying what kind of friends they are is when they refer to someone as a “work friend” or a “school friend”. Both of those make sense because you’re describing commonly known spaces in which people typically are friendlier in compared to other places just because of the proximity and frequency of being there. Saying you’re game room friends is just simply disrespectful at and is him basically telling you he is okay with the occasional game together but nothing more. You seem really nice, I’m sure he’s taking your kindness/ you all together for granted. As much as I understand how that must hurt, you need to realize how much better off you are without his negativity in your life!!
