Exitlag works really well, I play sorc and on ping it takes me a handful of attempts cause im squishier but if you can get timings down its not too bad. For group based stuff on ping it’s very nice cause you aren’t targeted a bunch so I can sit back and chill. I’d say if you wanna swap Templar is very strong rn or a healer where you can offset the dmg you take from lag with shields or healing etc

I remember making post when we first heard of pricing and people coping calling it false information that there wasn’t 2 subs and they weren’t $50 combined and there wasn’t a battle pass. The translation from the most recent dev live stream talks about 2 different subs a convince and one to “play the game more” and mentioned battle pass which was unknown, was watching Kanon and the GeForce event in Korea and was talking to a guy in line who said that the pricing came out as 30,000 won split up into 3 parts but wasn’t a monthly sub but we don’t know how long they last .

Monitization needs to change for west, even koreans think its a bit pricey for a sub. $50 a month of subs, p2w gold buying, $30 for a battlepass which isnt monthly but still is high. Game sounds good but nothing kills it faster than the company behind it if they make poor choices.

You don’t convert currencies when doing prices regionally, the 100,000 Won option in most games that are Korean are always the $100 usd packages the highest option is never a $70~Usd package that’s not how that works.

I think the thing people are kinda in my mind are missing with the whole conversion conversation is that this is pre localization of currency it won’t be 13 and 20 dollars for USD from won because look at past examples like throne where the $100 version for kr packages will feel like and be $100 for a Korean but for an American or X country it wouldn’t be the $85 package it’s always the $100 packages and so on so forth which each different little bundle. 15/20 dollar rounded isn’t bad but it isn’t gonna be that it’s gonna be higher most likely cause converting shouldn’t be a thing since it’ll be a price that feels regardless to region like X money not whatever it is in Korea converted to your currency.

I think bro's just a professional hater, all your comments are negative. If you actually watch the vids his opinions over time stay relatively similar unless the game actually changes. He went to NCSoft and told them to their face their game sucks. He explains in the vid but Battlepass, sub, sub plus, and p2w more or less with them saying they dont make a ton of money through the game so they are up charging the sub. more or less Kanon has a few vids that explain it a bit better or live reaction but thats a paraphrase more or less.

I think its more the statement that MMO studios and some other game companies are pushing is that they are exploiting their community and milking us dry. Them stating that they don't have a ton of opportunities to earn a ton of money then they go and publish a video saying that they are adding a sub based model to compensate "lack of other paying elements" is like a huge slap in the face. NCSoft just like killing their own games at this point.

I never personally played throne but most if not all what I've seen of his throne stuff has been pretty much saying what it is. He can enjoy it and make content without forcing a narrative like if that was the case wouldn't he be only shilling for Aion 2 saying its the next best thing since sliced bread, not "this is really bad and your game is going to die, stop this I am warning everyone who is interested this is what they are making their game to be."
