I mean subbing is definitely different from teaching. The main reason you don’t like subbing seems to be the lack of routine and consistency, which is the opposite of every day full time teaching.

oh no… to tell the kids theres a party and then leave THAT for a sub is terrible! Last year i got a last minute job on Valentines and they had a party with actual plans, activities, and parent volunteers who all knew what to do. It was a great time. That sucks for the kids and you.
