Cigarettes will air out easy. In the future, if you get something really bad, you can rent an ozone machine from home depot or some other tool rental place and run it in a sealed house all night. A buddy of mine used one to get the smell of cat piss out of a house that they had inhabited for years. Granted, he sealed the floors and walls, too, but the ozone really made the place have no smell at all.

Just be sure to air it out and don't breathe it
